Ice Cream
I was thinking about what it means to be a true follower of Christ. I know very few people who don't like ice cream it's really tasty. but it needs to be solid or well formed there is nothing worse than melted ice cream. It's because it's exposed to elements of heat. Sometimes I feel our walk with Christ is many times like melting ice cream our focus is not on the solid foundation which is Christ in the heat of fiery darts of the enemy we just melt and don't know what to do, Christ needs to be the centre in all of our life not just when it suits us or calling out in trouble, it kind of reminds me of the old hymn On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand. Where is your focus on life what is your foundation. Galatians 2 v 20 tells us we have been crucified with Christ we no longer live but Christ lives in us , Jesus told us to take up our cross and follow in other words giving him our all.
