Are we doing Church right?
Are we doing Church right?
What do I mean by this you may ask, let me explain my thoughts.
I have two points.
First one being why do we have to have our church buildings in darkness full of coloured lighting during commencement of a service.
The band comes on and strikes the first chord and the worship leader begins.
We are fed that we have to have this use click tracks in order to worship God in this way. I have my concerns about this, is there a need for this or are we just following a trend because it's the cool thing to do. Is it real worship or a show?
Dont get me wrong there are times and places for the coloured lights ect in a concert but is this nescearry for our Church services? Worship isn't music in itself it's just a part, as a worship leader some of the most precious times is a simple guitar and singer leading worship can be more powerful than all the lights click tracks ect. Here is my point shouldn't our focus be on God not the stuff that we are told will make our meetings exciting.
Second Point
Glory meetings Revival meetings what do the achieve?
So many times I look at these type of meetings and usually its aimed a Christian's sometimes last a week or 2 weeks of meetings. Is this really reaching the lost or are they meetings of self gratification. Is it Christian's getting their ears tickled and getting a fix. Just like a drug dealer does. Is God not worthy of so much more than this of focus should always be on Him and not ourselves. I am growing more and more about these things ask yourself these questions is it glorifying God, or are we just using him for our own needs.
Shouldnt our focus be on reaching the lost.
Point 3
Church in Lockdown due to covid,
Where is the Church?
I don't see a strong church but weak not questioning what's really
Going on.
Where are the so called healers?
Where are the men of God taking there stand against the lies and corruption.
Sadly all are hiding.
Is this what we the Church are?
Surely we should be making a difference in our society not afraid to lay hands on the sick, not afraid to meet, not afraid to make our voice heard.
The world needs Jesus come on Church wake up.
I know you may not agree with me on this.
But just my own thoughts
